What an honor it was to be able to visit the beautiful city of Delphi, what was said to be the "center" of the world because it was in this place that the two eagles met, when Zeus let them free. Legend has it that Apollo transformed into a dolphin (dolphin is delphi in greek) and guided the Cretan ship where he ordered sailors to build his shrine, which was how this amazing city got its name, Delphi. It was a long 4 hour bus ride from Thessaloniki to Delphi and by the time we had gotten there I was so exhausted I think I was too busy taking in all the scenery to remember to take lots of pictures, so this is the only picture I have from Delphi. But the views were incredible, the history of the city was amazing and while we were here we got to eat at a super fancy taverna (my favorite type of meals here in Greece) which was of course delicious! It was a short stay in Delphi as it was time to hit the road again for another 3 hours and travel all the way to Athens!
